Scenes of Old Akko (Acre) - old gate

This old studded gate opens into the courtyard of the Frank's Inn, (Khan Al-Franj), one of three inns from the Ottoman period.

Akko is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Key points are the old Hospitalier Fortress and Citadel dating to the Second Crusade (1191-1291), the old port, markets, churches, synagogues, and mosques.
