About

Most recently Israel-based but just relocated to New Zealand. I'm a world-travelled photographer specializing in urban scenes, architectural detail, and landscapes. I look forward to shortly sharing photos of the landscape and scenery of New Zealand.

My photography journey started in South Africa with a Minolta SRT101. I added a 300mm lens for wildlife photography, but unfortunately all my slides from that era went missing on one of my international moves. I also acquired a Minolta twin lens reflex and for several years experimented with medium format black and white street photography.

Moving into digital photography, I first used a Sony A200 which I then traded up to a Canon EOS20D. I now use a Canon EOS50D which has both a 17-85mm and a 55-250mm lenses. I kept the EOS20D and had it converted to an infra-red only camera.

Not only that, but I was active in forming a camera club in Nahariya, Israel and am currently a member of the Dargaville Camera Club in New Zealand. Over the years I have lived in England twice, South Africa, the USA, France, and Israel. After all this travel, I have finally returned to my homeland, New Zealand.

All my images are available for sale, either as image downloads or as photo prints.
